Ride1Up, a San Diego-based electric bike company renowned for its value-driven commuter models, has launched the torque sensing ebike: LMT’D V2. This upgraded model builds upon the success of the original LMT’D, incorporating key advancements for a more intuitive and responsive riding experience.

The most important addition to the LMT’D V2 is the addition of a torque sensor. Unlike traditional module sensors that measure pedaling speed, a torque sensor detects the force applied to the pedals. The LMT’D V2 prioritizes rider comfort with a 100mm Suntour suspension fork that absorbs bumps and road imperfections. WTB GROOV-E 27.5″ x 2.4″ tires provide a comfortable ride and increased stability at higher speeds than narrower tires often found on e-bikes. Fenders are included in the design, protecting you from rain and road spray during your commute.
A handlebar-mounted color display allows riders to easily monitor their ride data, such as speed, distance, battery level, and assist level.
